Ladakh Basket is a social enterprise championing authentic and indigenous products from Ladakhi farmers and craftspeople across the mountains, valleys and plains of Ladakh.
Ladakh Basket ensures that all our products are natural and organic, using environmentally responsible packaging.
Ladakh Basket promotes and practices environmental and financial sustainability as our core values to build strong, thriving communities today and for tomorrow.
Our most popular product, our organic chamomile is grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. Drink chamomile tea hot or cold as a caffeine-free alternative to black or green tea. Chamomile is renowned for its antioxidant properties. We drink it as a sleep aid too!
One of our signature products, our organic peppermint is grown in the foothills of Himalayas. Drink peppermint tea hot or cold for a refreshing drink that aids in digestion and relaxes tired muscles. We drink it for headaches too!
Since our inception in 2020, Ladakh Basket has brought together more than 50 local farming families and producers to collaborate and partner with us.
We’ve partnered with the village of Liktse and Hemya (in the Leh district of Ladakh) to showcase them as organic villages and grow awareness about the value and necessity of organic farming.
We are committed to the preservation and championing of our local indigenous heritage and culture. We believe in the value of strengthening our shared communities to ensure healthy flourishing for all.
When I first saw post of Ladakh Basket, I took it as just another company. But I spoke to Thinles, his ideas and genuine efforts made me believe that this is different. I was proven right with my first order. I congratulate entire team of Ladakh Basket for the fantastic work they do by helping the farmers.
I had a wish to bring this wonderful tasting gift of nature nurtured by Ladakhi farmers to my home. Voila! I came across ‘Ladakh Basket’ in an article in a major Indian print media and since then our family has been a regular customer of their dried halmon apricots and chamomile tea.
Their products are fantastic. I appreciate not only its quality , but also its package with sophisticated sense, they can be the best gift for anybody. I’m so happy with their effort of producing Ladakh’s precious product.
I was very fortunate to have discovered Ladakh Basket through a mere Google search. It is not just any e-store, but a platform which exhibits and celebrates its people and motherland through its indigenous product offerings.
The quality of the products and the packaging was fantastic. The Halman Apricots are absolutely addictive. I have since placed orders online and found Ladakh Basket to be great to work with- they send out high-quality products and are wonderful at customer service. I'll definitely be placing more orders in the future.
