Sea Buckthorn also known as Tsesta Lulu in local language is a deciduous wild berries plant that grows around banks of river and streams in Ladakh. These barries grow in the cold and dry temperature of Ladakh ranging from -30°C to 30°C.

Sea Buckthorn Berries have a quite unique tart like tangy flavour similar to the sour oranges with hints of mango and they are ruch in protein, fat soluble vitamins, phytosterols, flavonoids and other essential nutrients. It is a super food and a rich source of vitamin C to boost your immunity. It has around 20 times more vitamin C than lemon. It has been traditionally used in Tibetan, Ladakhi and Chinese medicine for centuries.
