Wild Himalayan Chives | Dried

Locally known as Skotse, it is an aromatic leaf grown in the high mountains of the Himalayas. The herb looks like dry brownish-green grass with a distinct aroma and flavour, similar to garlic. Farmers trek to the mountains to collect these leaves during summer. The leaves are then crushed and made into circular cakes. It is then sun-dried and kept in tight containers for winter use.
